Staying at Durham Riverside Apartments was an absolute delight! Nestled right in the heart of Durham, the location allowed for easy exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site, including the breathtaking Cathedral and Castle just a short walk away. The apartment itself was like a dream, with stunning interiors that made it perfect for cozy nights in, especially with the fluffy bathrobes provided - just what you need after a long day of sightseeing! I loved the riverside terrace where we enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine while watching the rowing boats glide by over the River Wear, creating such a tranquil atmosphere. The thoughtful welcome basket with breakfast provisions was a fabulous touch too, making our mornings effortless and enjoyable. Chris and Wendy were lovely hosts, accommodating our late checkout and ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to soak in the beauty of Durham!
